Feeling uninspired

Hey guys, I've been in such a rut lately! I need some inspiration badly. It's amazing how I can go through these periods where i'm obsessed with creating and can't seem to stop for a breath and then nothing, it's all gone! It might sound crazy but I can't force it, I really cannot paint if i'm not feeling passionate about an idea or a feeling.  I guess that's a good thing, I guess it makes what I do genuine in a way, it will come when its good and ready and when it does it seems to last a while before I become burnt out again. It needs to purge itself and then there is nothing left.  How do you find inspiration , or sort of replenish that passion when you feel a bit empty , any ideas?
